Welcome To My Blog

     Do you like to read? Do you love a story that hooks you from the first line and doesn't let you go? Do you struggle to find good books to read? Do you come across one that looks interesting, but when you begin to read it, it doesn't seem to live up to its cover, title, or description? Well, in this blog I hope to help you find books that you will enjoy. 

     My goal is to read about sixty books this year and write a review for most of them. As a writer I also would like to delve deep into each story and talk about its characters, character arc, plot, and even the writing itself. With these four crucial parts of a story, I want to explore how the author did or didn't use them to their advantage and how that impacted the story. 

     I want to use this blog to understand how great books are great books, as well as recommend them to other readers. This isn't just for me, but for other writers or readers who want to understand how a story works (though, DISCLAIMER: this information does not come from the most experienced writer). That is what this blog is all about.  

    The next post will be a book review of 100 Days of Sunlight by Abbie Emmons. I will be posting it by January 15th, if not earlier.
