Recommended Age: 14+ A writer friend recommended 100 Days of Sunlight by Abbie Emmons to me a couple months ago. It's a contemporary romance, which isn't something I normally read, but I’ve heard good things about it, so I bought it. The book is written in two perspectives: Tessa Dickinson, a poetry blogger, who lost her sight in a car accident, and Weston Ludovico, who got in a skateboarding accident that ended with the doctors amputating his legs. Tessa is self-loathing and angry with her situation, even though the doctors assure her that she will only be blind for 12 to 14 weeks, and Weston is optimistic even though half of his legs are prostheses.
